Day 1: Arrive and Transfer to Mgahinga National Park

You are dropped at the Entebbe International Airport where you are picked up and transferred to the Southwest of Uganda. Have lunch en-route then continue to the Park to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Ikoro lodge.

Day 2 of the 5 Day Gorilla Trek Uganda & Mount Sabinyo: Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga National Park

Breakfast in the morning then transfer for briefing on conduct around the Mountain Gorillas. You are located in groups of 8 with a lead park ranger guide who transfers you to enter the forest and trek the mountain Gorillas for 3-5 hours. After a while you meet them and stay in their presence taking man photos to keep. After trekking the Mountain Gorillas, return to lodge for dinner and overnight. Ikoro lodge.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking in Mgahinga National Park

Early morning breakfast then transfer for short briefing on conduct around the Golden Monkeys then later in groups with park ranger guides, enter the forest to trek the Golden Monkeys for 2-4 hours. After a while, you meet as you follow from one trail to another taking many photos to keep. After trekking the Golden Monkeys, return to lodge for dinner and overnight. Ikoro lodge.

Day 4 of the 5 Day Gorilla Trek Uganda & Mount Sabinyo: Early morning Hike of Mount Sabinyo

Breakfast in the morning then transfer to the starting point where you are briefed on conduct as you hike to the top of mount sabinyo volcano. The summit of the mountain volcano is at 3,645 meters (11,959 ft) you view all the three countries i.e Uganda, Rwanda and democratic republic of congo. Along the slopes you watch mountain gorillas in their natural vegetation habitat.

The Mount Sabinyo hike is a one day hike involving 4 hours to the summit and 4 hours back and this depends on the pace and weather conditions. Walking sticks are provided for free meanwhile the porters are available for hire. Follow through vegetation zones from bamboo zone between 2400 – 2800m ascending with our packed lunch then later embark on descent to the starting point then to lodge for dinner and overnight.
