Day 1: Umbwe Gate – Umbwe Cave (6-8hrs)
Day 2: Umbwe Cave – Barranco Camp (4-6hrs)
Day 3: Barranco Camp – Karanga Camp (3-4hrs)
Day 4: Karanga Camp – Barafu Camp (3-4hrs)
Day 5: Barafu Camp – Summit (5-7hrs)

Day 1: Umbwe Gate – Umbwe Cave (6-8hrs)
Arrive at the Kilimanjaro International Airport where you leave to the Kilimanjaro National Park Gate. You pick your permits as then with views at the green terrain, rainforest, fauna and flora carry your gaiters and trekking poles then proceed through a ridge located between two deep valleys to the dense montane forest. After a while you reach the Camp located between large trees with thick under growth and here you have overnight. Umbwe Cave.
Day 2 of the 6 Days Mount Kilimanjaro Trek (Umbwe Route Hike): Umbwe Cave – Barranco Camp (4-6hrs)
Breakfast then transfer from the rain forest onto a steep ascending trail along the Umbwe Ridge descending slightly to the Barranco Camp situated in the valley. Here have dinner and Overnight.
Day 3: Barranco Camp – Karanga Camp (3-4hrs)
Have breakfast then later embark on a transfer along a steep ridge to the Barranco Wall to the Karanga Valley and the center that adjoins with the Mweka Trail. Dinner and Overnight at Karanga Camp.
Day 4: Karanga Camp – Barafu Camp (3-4hrs)
Breakfast then proceed to the Barafu Camp and on reaching here you have now accomplished the South Circuit. While here, enjoy views of breathtaking views of the summit from many different angles. Enjoy an early dinner then have Overnight at the Barafu Camp.
Day 5: Barafu Camp – Summit (5-7hrs)
Get up at midnight then at 2:00 am proceed on a very mentally and physically challenging part of the trek in between the Rebmann and Ratzel glaciers.
